Chocolate Mousse

Mousse
Butter/Unsalted 75g
Chocolate/Semi Sweet 150g
Egg 5
Sugar/Caster 2 tablespoon
Vanilla/Pure Extract 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate in a bain marie
  2. Remove from heat and add butter
  3. When mixture is very smooth, quickly blend in 2 large egg yolks
  4. Whisk 3 egg whites with a pinch of salt until very stiff
  5. Whisk in caster sugar and vanilla
  6. Carefully mix the chocolate preparation with the whisked egg whites
  7. Pour into dish, chill for atleast 12 hours
