Thai Basil Fried Rice (Khao Pad)

Basil/Thai/Fresh 10g 7g shreded, rest to garnish
Bean/Green 100g 3cm pieces
Capsicum/Red 1 small 5cm lengths
Chilli/Birds Eye 1 finely chopped
Coriander/Fresh 1 tablespoon Chopped
Garlic 1 Clove Finely Chopped
Mushroom/Button 90g Halved/Quartered
Oil/Canola 2 Tablespoon
Onion/Shallot/Red 3 Sliced
Rice/White/Jasmine 465g Cooked
Sauce/Soy/Light 3 tablespoon
Sugar/Palm 1 teaspoon grated

Directions

  1. Heat wok/pan over high heat. Add Oil/Canola
  2. Stir-fry Onion/Shallot/Red, Garlic & Chilli/Birds Eye for ~3min or until shallts start to brown
  3. Add Beans/Green, Capsicum/Red and Mushrooms/Button stir-fry for ~3min or until cooked
  4. Stir through Rice/White/Jasmin
  5. Dissolve Sugar/Palm in Sauce/Soy pour over rice
  6. Stir through Basil/Thai/Fresh & Coriander/Fresh
  7. Garnish with shallot flakes and Basil/Thai/Fresh
